Wonder (Old Barn Rescue Company Review & Giveaway)

When Tessa was about 5 months old, we finally got around to finishing off decorating her nursery (Hey - don't judge me...I had a newborn to take care of!!). Obviously, we had all the essentials in place before she arrived, but hadn't quite put the finishing touches on the walls (mostly because I'm so indecisive and couldn't decide what I wanted to do). Poor girl...had to stare at blank walls for the first few months of her life!

We had been thinking that we wanted to find a decal of some sort, but everything we saw in the stores or online was either not to our tastes, too expensive, or just too plain and ordinary. I kept looking, and luckily thought to check Etsy…JACKPOT!! I stumbled upon the most amazing little shop that sells these beautiful, hand-lettered vinyl wall decals. Old Barn Rescue Company is now one of my favorite Etsy shops. We ended up buying one decal for Tessa's room, one for our bedroom, and one for our main entryway. I would buy more (there's so many great quotes I love!) but we just don't have the wall space for them.

Here's the decal we chose for Tessa's room:

Jan and Adonna are super talented – Adonna does all the lettering and it’s simply gorgeous! All of their designs can be printed in a variety of colors (60 to choose from!), and decal sizes can be adjusted to fit your needs. They'll even work with you to make a custom decal if you have something specific in mind. The decals come with easy to follow instructions for hanging (as well as a little test piece so you can practice before you put the real thing up) and they’re actually really easy to put up (the big ones are definitely a 2-person job, though). They look absolutely amazing on the wall – the only part that is left stuck to your wall is the actual design (no extra clear vinyl around the outside), so they don’t even look like decals once they’re on. They’re also removable (but not reusable).

We couldn’t be happier with how Tessa’s room turned out.

Jan and Adonna have graciously agreed to give away a wall decal to one of my readers. Make sure you go and check out their shop on Etsy, show them some love, and then enter the giveaway below. The winner will have their choice of one of the three decals shown below.

Good luck!!
